Our acoustic soundproofing is an effective solution for the following applications:

Sound transmission


Thirty years ago, carpeting was seen as a fashionable floor covering that was greatly appreciated for its acoustic insulation properties. Today, hardwood, engineered wood and laminated products are more often used in apartment buildings and condos.

Sound transmission is a common source of complaints from condominium owners and tenants of apartment buildings, both in the case of new constructions and renovated buildings.

The “Superior” solution


Over time, our product has demonstrated superior performance when compared to other acoustic products. Uréthane Supérieur injects its product at a density of 3.0 lbs per cubic foot in dividing walls and 2.5 lbs per cubic foot in floors/ceilings.

For existing partitions, the injection can be made directly through the drywall panels by making holes (approximately two-inches in diameter), which we seal afterwards with wooden plugs. For walls that are under construction, the injection is made through a ventilated membrane that is stapled to the frame before installing the drywall.
